Our client chose to replace the windows in their circa 1920s home with a selection of triple glazed composite tilt and turn windows from Internorm.
In the living room, we installed Internorm’s HF310 timber/aluminium composite window from the studio range with tilt & turn opening. The outer frame is finished in Jet Black (RAL 9005) and the sash is finished in Oyster White (RAL 1013). In order to mimic a traditional flush casement timber window, a dummy transom creates the look of fan light and the black and white mix ensures the style is in keeping with the original sash design.
In the kitchen, a tilt & turn door offers access to the garden and perfectly matches the neighbouring HF310 window. Both finished in Traffic White (RAL 9016). In a more contemporary environment, the outer frame of the studio system can be hidden behind cladding or render for a frameless appearance.
The bathroom windows are from the home pure range from Internorm and benefit from solar powered, remote controlled, integrated blinds for sun protection and privacy. Day/night recognition means the blinds will open and close at sunrise and sunset. You can see the blinds in operation in the video below.
