Internorm HF310 Timber/Aluminium Composite Windows, HS330 Lift & Slide Doors and AT400 Aluminium Front Door, Hemel Hempstead

This impressive modern new-build in Hemel Hempstead had installed Internorm HF310 Timber / Aluminium Composite windows, HS330 Lift & Slide Doors. The barn-styled home looks amazing and blends so well with the surrounding area.

We also installed our Internorm AT400 Aluminium Front Door which has a special paint finish in dark oak on aluminium to create a timber look and features a stainless steel bar handle.

The triple glazed windows are from Internorm’s Home Pure range and feature a square-edged sash with no visible hardware parts, giving the windows a contemporary look. The window frame is finished in Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016) on the outside and Spruce on the inside. External cladding will hide the frames to maximise the glass area and create a frameless look. Our client chose a mix of tilt & turn openings and fixed units.

We installed a range of Internorm HF310 Timber/Aluminium Composite Windows, HS330 Lift & Slide Doors and Aluminium Front Door in Hemel Hempstead in different configurations, in the same Anthracite Grey/Spruce finish to match the window frames. In the dining area, the total frame is 2.6m high and 9.2m wide, with an overall span exceeding 22m. A four-panel lift & slide option was chosen, with central openers. We also installed left and right opening single-pane options.

Access to the site was limited which made the logistics a whole lot of fun! Hoisting equipment and vacuum lifting machinery was required because of the sheer scale and weight of the glazing and frames, some of which weighed more than 250kg.
