Location: Surbiton
Our client wanted to add a large Orangery to their home in Surbiton, Surrey to substantially increase the size of their kitchen and dining area. Their original planning application had been rejected due to height restrictions against a neighbouring property.
Thames Valley Windows designed and built the entire space with careful consideration given to the dimensions, shape and roof design. The work involved incorporating new access into the Orangery, a new downstairs cloakroom and utility room, removal of the existing chimney breast, raising interior floor levels, electrics, lighting and underfloor heating. Clever design work with steel beams ensured there were no unsightly supports inside the Orangery.
The end result is breathtaking. The Orangery has transformed the way the family lives and has increased the value of the property by considerably more than the total project cost.
