Hi, I’m Marcus from Thames Valley Windows, and today we will be talking about the “Woodline” timber-clad bi-folding doors from Solarlux.

The Woodline from Solarlux is essentially an aluminium structure that is entirely timber-clad with solid-wood sections, inside and out. To give it more agility and much better adjustability.

All the timber is sustainably sourced and comes in a range of RAL colours and finishes and wood types from spruce, meranti, oak and other options. Threshold details, here we display the flush track. There are different ranges and options; you can have a rebated track or a DDA track. The DDA track will give you a minimal threshold but still give you a maximum weather rating of 600 pascals.

The pair doors on the Solarlux systems are tested to 20,000 cycles. The leading doors are tested to 50,000 cycles. 20,000 cycles equate to 30 years if used every day. The Woodline is a primarily double glazed system, and with a double glazed unit of a centre pane of one, you would achieve 1.3 to 1.4 as an overall U value.
