The Mayor of Bracknell Forest Cllr Jenny Penfold was one of the guests of honour at an annual Sri Lankan New Year Festival full of traditional music, fun and entertainment – which was enjoyed by thousands on Sunday, 5th May 2024
The family-friendly event, held on a picturesque sunny day on the Holly Springs Primary School playing fields in Bracknell, has firmly established itself as a beloved and highly anticipated festival within the Sri Lankan communities.
This year, the festival saw a remarkable turnout, a testament to its growing popularity and the vibrant spirit of our community. The diverse range of activities, from traditional Sri Lankan and Thai food stalls to games and music, catered to all ages, making it a truly inclusive event.
Thames Valley Windows, a proud supporter of the festival, was delighted to contribute to its continued growth in popularity.
Well done again to everybody involved, and see you all again next year!
