This beautiful Apeer 70 Rowton green mist front door with sidelight adds a touch of nature and tranquillity to a semi-detached property located a stone’s throw from Lightwater Country Park.

The Lightwater homeowners have been customers of Thames Valley Windows since 1998 when we installed the existing Rosewood front door and side panel. Over time, it had become less secure, and a draught was coming through, so it was no longer energy efficient.

Our client’s brief was to upgrade their double-glazed Rosewood front door with a similar style door but with improved security performance and thermal efficiency whilst retaining an air of traditional elegance.

Our designer, Chris, called the Lightwater homeowner to discuss their project and arrange an appointment at our Bracknell showroom to view the range of uPVC, Aluminium, timber, and composite front doors we have on display.

The Apeer 70 traditional composite front door is finished in calming, natural green mist on the exterior and white to match the interior decor, creating a light and bright hallway.

The two glass panels and sidelight feature B0508 leaded minster glass, an intricately detailed classic style that allows natural light to flow into the hallway.

Apeer offers two colour options: standard and premium colour palettes. Green Mist is from Apeer’s premium colour range.

To complement the green mist front door, the Lightwater homeowner chose satin silver door furniture, including a traditional scroll knocker, lever handle and letterbox.

We also installed a smooth white door frame that subtly contrasts the door’s nature-inspired Green mist colour and creates a focal point.

The multi-point Yale locking system features two rollers, three hooks, two deadbolts, and a latch that adds rigidity and security. It secures the door from top to bottom for optimum protection.
