This beautiful detached period property in East Moseley, Surrey, has recently been transformed with bespoke white-leaded timber windows to improve its insulation and enhance its traditional aesthetic appeal.

This period home is located on a sought-after premier tree-lined road in the heart of East Molesey, within a short distance of the iconic Hampton Court Palace on the banks of the River Thames.

The Surrey homeowners came to us to replace the old wooden leaded windows at the front of our house with double-glazed, like-for-like casement window replacements., These would still be in keeping with the stained glass porch and sympathetic to the period features of the cream-rendered property, improving the overall U value and reducing the ongoing maintenance required.

The existing single-glazed leaded wooden windows suffered heat loss and draughts due to rotten timber, which required regular maintenance and was no longer energy efficient.
