One of our technical team here at Thames Valley Windows shows you how to fix a front door that is not shutting properly.
“Now, another issue can be if the door isn’t quite engaging properly and it tends to want to bounce back. Normally, this is to do with the one that’s in the middle, which is what we call the latch plate. Again, by bringing this clockwise, you’ll take the keep closer to the doorframe. The closer to the doorframe, the tighter the door will become. So, in this case, it’s too tight.
So, I’ll go anti-clockwise.
