Our Managing Director, Ryan Schofield, Sales Director, Paul Mills, and Projects Manager, Dan Moynihan, visited Qfort Headquarters in Craiova, Romania, last week to tour their new aluminium production hall.
It includes five cutting and production lines equipped with modern machinery, covering the entire production process from cutting to packaging finished products. Additionally, it features a vertical painting workshop.
Qfort displayed some great new products, including the minimalist Panorama aluminium sliding door system and the latest innovation in bi-folds and sliding pocket doors.
With a surface area of approximately 13,000 m², it is the largest and most modern in Eastern Europe. This enables us to produce 190 windows, 30 French windows, and 30 sliding doors per day.
Qfort operates internationally and manufactures windows, patio doors, and thermally insulated doors for the European market.
In today’s glazing industry, staying ahead of market trends and adapting to changes is crucial for success. This helps Thames Valley Windows maintain a current and competitive brand.
Window and door design trends are constantly evolving, and while we may not spot the latest trends, people quickly notice when a design looks dated. Visiting new manufacturers is a great source of design inspiration.
Staying ahead of emerging glazing market trends can help meet customer demands and anticipate customer needs before they arise.
The factory tour provided a fantastic experience, offering attendees a genuine insight into Qfort’s innovative glazing solutions and extensive industry knowledge.
Attendees came from various countries, and the factory tour was coordinated to ensure that everyone had the opportunity to acquire valuable product knowledge, tour the working factory, and witness the working process and thorough testing procedures conducted onsite.
We saw the design considerations for producing the latest state-of-the-art glazing systems, which offered a better understanding of the Romainian engineering, workmanship, and innovation. We learnt a lot again.
We want to thank everyone at Qfort for a fantastic trip and their incredible hospitality.
