The owners of this classic 1920s detached house approached us to help replace the original windows that were tired and had seen better days. Ideally, they were looking to replace them with modern windows that provided thermal insulation and because of the property’s location, close to the M25, superb acoustic performance too.

It was obviously important also that the replacement windows complemented the traditional look and feel of the home. With all of this in mind, we helped the client to decide upon the Internorm KF410 contemporary tilt and turn double glazing windows with anthracite grey on the outside and white uPVC on the interior.

Our design team calculated the proportions of the Anthracite Grey Double Glazing Windows in Lower Kingswood so that they harmonised fully with the property. We added finishing details in the form of the flying mullion on the three-pane windows to give a slimmer sightline. This means the owner can enjoy further-reaching views of the surrounding countryside. French doors were also installed in the matching finishing to give a greater sense of light and to provide the occupants with easy access to their garden to the rear of the property.
