We recently installed two sets of jet-black art deco French doors into a Retro Kitchen Renovation in Winnersh, Wokingham, Berkshire.

The Winnersh homeowners had been planning a kitchen renovation for a few years. They needed more than a simple replacement of white uPVC French doors and a window to their kitchen. They wanted to replace the French doors and kitchen window with two black steel-look aluminium doors from the Art Deco era.

The look of the door was the primary factor, which, once combined with their quality, made it a very easy decision to make.

Results – did it meet aspirations? What impact has the installation had – a lifestyle change, property value, space added, etc?

The doors are great. They have opened up the space in the kitchen and let in a lot more light. With their vintage feel, they complement the period of the house, and we wish we could have had the whole house done at the same time. One day!

A colleague initially recommended TVW many years ago but never went through with that project. When renovating our kitchen, we revisited TVW and other suppliers for the work needed.
