Location: Bishops Sutton
The owner of this stunning new build approached us to help with the Composite Double Glazing Windows in Bishops Sutton on the property. A member of our in-house design team worked alongside the architect to find something contemporary that would be in keeping with the aesthetics of the house.
As the project moved further along, the client visited our Thames Valley Windows showroom in person for a more detailed look at the available choices. Eventually, they opted for the Internorm HF310 Timber/Aluminium tilt and turn style Composite Double Glazing Windows in Bishops Sutton from the Home Soft range. They also picked out the HS330 lift and slide style doors.
The finishing chosen for the windows and doors was the matt anthracite grey for the exterior and white on the interior. Interform windows, made from aluminium-timber composite and featuring triple-glazing met the client’s desire for contemporary windows that had excellent sound and thermal insulation.
As they were installed with the practical tilt and turn opening and closure mechanism, it is easy to ventilate the property when necessary and can be opened fully, making cleaning easy. On the windows in the bottom half of the property, the client chose to have internal blinds fitted onto the frame. As can be seen from the images, this is a very neat, tidy and very easy operation option.
To match up with the Composite Double Glazing Windows in Bishops Sutton, the lift and slide doors were finished in the same colours. Although they are big and quite heavy, they still move smoothly and effortlessly along the railing. The doors help to improve the sound and thermal insulation of the property.
