Contemporary Glazed Structure, Finchampstead, Wokingham

Location: Wokingham

The owners of this lovely home in Finchampstead, Wokingham, wanted to open up their kitchen to enjoy the outside space even on colder days. To keep within the budget, we created a conservatory style glass room using Solarlux SL 60e bi-fold doors and an Akzent Plus roof. We also installed underfloor heating to ensure that even on the coldest days, the space is warm and cozy.

The SL 60e is the most popular of the bi-folding doors from Solarlux. They offer the best of both worlds; superb quality and value.

The glass is self cleaning so a bit of rain or a hose will easily deal with any fallen debris or moss that may find its way on to the roof from neighbouring trees or the roof of the main house. And because the roof is double glazed, you will barely be able to hear any rain, unlike older style poly-carbonate (plastic) conservatory roofs.

To help our client visualise this, we produced a full-colour, scaled architects drawing of their home. This service is free of charge. The drawing can be seen in the gallery above.
