Location: London
This family home in London was being renovated and extended. Our client wanted to replace the existing windows but was keen to ensure that the new windows were sympathetic to the 1950s traditional style of the property. They also wanted to ensure that the thermal and acoustic performance was fully maximised.
Having considered several options, our client chose contemporary uPVC aluminium-clad Internorm KF200 Tilt and Turn casement windows from the Home Pure range. The external black aluminium cladding suits the Edwardian design of the property, and the curved edges of the profile provide a period look.
Triple glazing as standard provides an overall u-value of an incredibly low 0.7 w/m²k and can achieve sound protection of 33 – 45 dB. This makes the Internorm Home Pure KF200 Tilt and Turn Windows suitable for any window replacement project or new build, including Passive House, or anyone wishing to simply optimise the performance of their windows and reduce their heating and energy costs.
