Say hello to this stunning contemporary steel blue composite front door with a white frame in Headley, Thatcham!
This steel-blue front door perfectly blends contemporary elegance and practical functionality. It is designed to add curb appeal to the entrance of this family home.
The detached property is surrounded by attractive countryside. It is situated in a quiet yet convenient rural location on the edge of the desirable village of Headley, an idyllic English village.
Headley is south of Newbury, on the way to Kingsclere and Basingstoke, a short distance from the former school of King Charles, Cheam School.
The owners of this family home in Headley wanted to replace their Brown wooden front door and three sidelights with a contemporary front door that would enhance their home’s curb appeal while providing improved security and thermal performance.
The wooden front door created a draughty hallway, making the home colder and less energy efficient. They wanted a contemporary composite front door that would improve functionality and security and make the house warmer and more energy-efficient.
They wanted a modern, contemporary entrance door. They had already seen the Apeer 70 contemporary Compton front door style APTS26 in an Anthracite grey finish, so they contacted us for a free, no-obligation quote.
Our designer, Luke, contacted the Headley homeowner to listen to their requirements and discuss them so that he could prepare a quote.
A couple of days after Luke had emailed the homeowners the quote, they confirmed that they wanted to proceed with their order.
The Headley homeowners chose the Apeer 70 contemporary Compton front door, finished in steel blue on the exterior and white on the interior. They chose opal glazing for the three triple-glazed panels to the left of the front door.
They selected a stainless steel 1200mm handlebar, a perfect example of contemporary sophistication.
The installation process was smooth and efficient. Our experienced fitters, Paul and Ryan, ensured the work was completed to a high standard, paying attention to the minor details with minimal disruption to the homeowners. The old wooden door and side panels were carefully removed, and the new composite door was fitted precisely, ensuring optimal performance while leaving no mess behind.
The Apeer 70 exterior doors are secure, durable, and energy-efficient. They are among the few composite front doors on the market that are A++ rated and nearly seven times more thermally resistant than other 70mm composite doors.
Constructed with a super strong, reinforced polyurethane core, the double-rebated twin-seal design is virtually airtight, creating an internal secondary seal that ensures excellent insulation.
These composite doors contribute to environmental sustainability. They feature a deep 70mm double rebate, a high-density polyurethane foam core, and a reinforced GRP inner sash. Together, these elements provide outstanding levels of thermal efficiency, and less energy consumption means a smaller carbon footprint for your home.
Apeer 70 composite front door far exceeds Police approved security standards.
Apeer doors offer outstanding security and are designed with features approved by the Police for enhanced security. They include large steel hinge bolts that provide maximum protection at vulnerable points. Additionally, they are equipped with kitemarked multipoint locking cylinder lock barrels that are anti-pick, anti-bump, anti-drill, and anti-snap, ensuring that your property is well-protected against intruders.
These low-maintenance doors feature a natural wood grain finish, providing an authentic “timber alternative” look. Available in various standard and premium door colours, each door is sprayed, bonded, and sealed to prevent cracking, peeling, and flaking, ensuring a flawless appearance for many years.
The finished result is stunning. The steel blue composite front door and white frame are a unique colour combination that is both modern and versatile and enhances the overall façade of this Headley property.
The white frame surrounding this striking steel-blue front door enhances its presence even more. The three triple-glazed panels provide the homeowners with privacy from any visitors while reflecting and improving the flow of natural light into the hallway.
This combination of clean lines creates a timeless look that feels fresh and inviting and increases curb appeal.
