These stunning agate grey Heritage style windows in a combination of tilt &turn windows and fixed windows intertwine modern performance with Art Deco-inspired style.

The Oxshott homeowners had lived in this traditional property for over 30 years, and it still had its original single-glazed rosewood leaded timber casement windows. And although it still contained lots of character, it was in real need of some modernisation to bring it into the 21st century.

Situated in the suburban village of Oxshott, the homeowners regularly passed a property they admired when out walking. Finally, they decided to ring the bell and advise the homeowners of their admiration of the windows and doors.

Luckily for us, the homeowners answered and informed our clients that Thames Valley Windows had designed and installed them and were delighted with the products and found us to be a professional company at every level and a pleasure to work with

The Oxshott homeowners appointed us to design and install a selection of our high-quality aluminium windows and doors.

Part of the homeowner’s brief was they insisted upon a high specification throughout, focusing on outstanding design and acoustic and thermal performance. This was an exciting project for our designer Ray Money who worked closely with the Oxshott homeowners. A lot of thought and considered attention to detail have been implemented to design a contemporary architectural glazing solution of windows, doors, and FSG. A beautiful combination of modern and heritage design.

When carrying out a large-scale home renovation or new build project, it is not unusual for architect plans and homeowner ideas to change. Ray provided several quotations and full-colour 3D visuals of the proposed window and door designs, allowing the Oxshott homeowners to visualise the outcome and discuss the options before the final decisions were made.

This Oxshott home renovation is sensitive to the surrounding landscape and adds a sense of splendour that oozes charm and elegance with period features to this beautiful luxury family home.

A sweeping driveway and landscape gardens lead you to the frontage of the large detached property, surrounded by beautiful countryside views that allow the homeowners to connect the interior and exterior living spaces seamlessly.

The property is almost unrecognisable. Thanks to the high-quality replacement slim-framed agate grey aluminium windows, it boasts a modern and clean aesthetic throughout, matching FSG and a contemporary rendered finish. The gallery above shows the dramatic before and after photos.

The property boasts some stunning architectural features, including an impressive grand curtain walling of large fixed windows to create a statement of opulence: a visually stunning focal point and a magnificent entrance to the front of the house.

The sensational floor-to-ceiling glazing maximises natural light into the property, creating an illusion of a light and airy space that adds an air of grandeur from the moment you step into the house.

This luxurious family home has been finished to a very high specification, unrivalled in style and quality, with lots of natural light!.

All Heritage-style tilt-and-turn windows, fixed windows, and bifold doors have been designed with clean lines and thin frames, ensuring a sleek and consistent look to match the appearance of traditional steel windows and doors.

The Heritage style windows and doors are powder coated and finished in a dual colour of an elegant agate grey on the exterior, perfectly matching the agate grey, fascias, soffits and guttering and giving the property a modern aesthetic.

The inside window frames were finished in white to create a contemporary feel and complement the interior décor.

All of the tilt and turn windows and fixed windows throughout the house are designed and manufactured in durable aluminium and have insulated double-glazed glass, argon filled units providing exceptional thermal performance.

Lockable handles with multi-point locking systems were chosen on the ground floor to add extra security.

We also installed three sets of Heritage style bi-folding doors at the back of the property. Two sets on the ground floor kitchen and dining room and one in the master bedroom match the first-floor windows.

The Oxshott homeowners are delighted with their windows and doors and advised:

“We have lived in the UK for 33 years and 2 years ago started looking for new doors and windows for our property. We’re originally from the Netherlands and still have a property there. Aluminium (bi-fold)doors and windows are common there (as they are in most of northern Europe) and we have been wondering why these were not more often used in the UK. Our products come from Germany, and the Brexit and Coronavirus circumstances could put a real spanner in the (production, transport and delivery) wheel, but none of that happened. Professional, friendly and trustworthy TVW crews turned up for many days and weeks (ours was a very large project) and delivered a high-quality product, on-time and on budget. Aftercare has been sublime as TVW has come back for the slightest adjustment, missing or damaged strip, etc. In a few words: TVW reliably delivered a top-quality product that has made us happy!
