Location: Blewbury
The owners of this beautiful 1980s property in the picturesque town of Blewbury were having major renovations carried out on it and were interested in replacing the double glazing windows and doors in Blewbury. They felt that these elements were really holding back the overall look and feel of the house. Admittedly, they did have a point as the dark-brown hues of the window frames did not match with the brickwork.
Our design team here at Thames Valley Windows created 3D drawings to give our clients a good idea of what various window frame colours would look like, including black and grey. In the end, they selected the Internorm tilt & turn windows. The Internorm door was chosen also with side door panels to complement the windows. Even though they are heavier than a lot of other windows, the sliding doors glide easily along the low-profile track.
While the interior of the double glazing windows in Blewbury was finished with the Spruce finish, the exterior was given the matt jet-black finish. It must be said, as you can see from the images in the gallery, that they look stunning.
Thanks to the replacements, the thermal performance of the property was improved. Now all parts of the property work well together.
