Location: Beaconsfield
Our clients in Beaconsfield approached us with the view to giving their home a modern feel and were also looking to open the rear of the kitchen up to enable more natural light to enter the property.
As the client was originally interested in white aluminium, we talked with them about a more contemporary choice of colouring. They took some time to mull it over and settled on the slate grey colour in the end.
The first part of the job involved removing the uPVC French doors that were already there and widening the existing space a little to make room for the 2400mm width of the three-panel bi-folding doors. For this we used the tailormade Solarlux SL60e bi-folding door.
As you can see in the accompanying pictures, the slate grey of the doors makes them more subtle and helps to draw the garden into the property more.
Along with the bi-fold doors, the clients wanted us to remove the tired and dull bay windows and we used the contemporary flat sash casement Double Glazing Windows in Beaconsfield in their place, with the same slate grey colouring so they matched the doors.
These Double Glazing Windows in Beaconsfield and doors helped to enhance the aesthetics of the kitchen with their design and colour, but also helped to increase the amount of natural light entering the room.
As a result of the increased light, the client had a Markilux motorised awning installed to shade the room when the days were too bright or too warm.
