A client located in Dorset was looking to really take advantage of the stunning views they were privy to from their home looking over the English coast. They had found that most companies operating in the area were unable to provide the solution they were after using just a single pane of glass.
However, our team at Thames Valley Windows utilised the high performance Double Glazing windows in Dorset Solarlux SL60e fixed frame and a sealed unit that we made especially for the project to give the client exactly what they wanted. Due to the dimensions and weight of the glass pane, we had to hire out a specialist hydraulic lift to help get the glass into the right place.
Furthermore, the client opted, with our recommendation and advice, for a full-height Double Glazing windows in Dorset to be installed into the side elevation, opening up the property’s staircase. We used the Internorm Home Pure system. Just as with the other pane, the hydraulic lift was used to install this heavy piece of glass.
