Location: Streatley
We recently completed an installation of Double Glazing Windows for a customer’s new build property in the town of Streatley. The HF310 Internorm casement windows from the Internorm Home Pure range that we were chosen by the owners to give that authentic timber look but without the hassle and maintenance that is required of real timber products. Therefore, the timber effect aluminium windows were the perfect choice. Thanks to its design, there is no visible hardware and it has a fully-concealed style locking. It also is incredibly easy to clean.
The colour anthracite grey was used on the outside, with the inside being better suited to white. The actual glass was acoustic glazing that is triple-glazed and ideal for sound and thermal insulation. A transom bar decoration was added onto the window to give it an appealing style with contemporary handles finishing them off.
As well as helping to ensure the property has the necessary protection against the elements and sounds from outside, the Double Glazing Windows in Streatley were installed with tilt and turn mechanisms to make it easy to ventilate the building.
The HF310 windows were specifically chosen for their low 0.69 W/m2K u-value and sound reduction measuring around 35dB. This complies fully with PAS24 and Part O in the building regulations for properties that are new builds.
