The owners of this wonderful property in Windsor were looking for suitable secondary glazing for the home to improve its thermal performance. They weren’t interested in replacing the existing timber single-glazed windows because they liked how they looked too much. We had to admit, they did add character and depth to the property.
After visiting our showroom, the client was taken by the Residence 9 timber alternative flush casements. They loved the look and feel of this option so much that they bought them for the secondary glazing for the whole property. Cotswold Biscuit was chosen as the finish for the frames on the exterior and interior. With the windows finished off using Georgian bars and traditional cast iron window furniture.
The homeowners were thrilled with the finished result. The windows look the same as they did but had the additional benefit of being free of any troublesome maintenance needs and are in general incredibly energy efficient. As you can probably tell from the pictures in the gallery above, this property will continue to look as stunning as it did the day, we completed work on it until many years into the future.
