Location: East Grinstead
This mid-1970s property had the original timber windows. Although they were in good condition, they weren’t thermally efficient and noise from the nearby busy road was a problem. The windows are large, as is usually the case with homes built in the ’70s.
Our client did a lot of research. They wanted high quality, triple glazed windows that would last, give their home a contemporary feel and be efficient. Internorm ticked all the boxes and became their preferred choice. They particularly liked the aluminium finish, the specifications of the windows and the fact that they are the same depth as the previous windows.
They also chose a highly thermally efficient contemporary front door from Pirnar. This particular door is from the Premium range. It’s finished in anthracite grey on the outside and pure white on the inside, to match the windows.
Our client is delighted and says their house is warmer, quieter and has less condensation as a result. The house looks much more contemporary and they often receive lovely comments from visitors!
