We recently installed Sunflex SVG30 slimline aluminium sliding pocket doors into a new contemporary open corner extension in a detached property in a popular Farnborough area.

When the Farnborough homeowners purchased the property in 2020, it was slightly dated and needed renovation. However, they had a clear vision and were keen to modernise the family home by demolishing the white conservatory and replacing it with a large flat-roof single-storey rear extension. They also converted their garage into a habitable room on their detached family home.

Part of the brief for the single-storey extension was full-height glazing and large picture windows to maximise natural light and allow the open-plan living spaces to connect with the garden seamlessly.

Ryan discussed the different glazing products with the homeowners and architects to ensure the windows and doors were as large as possible while achieving the required overall U-Value and blurring the inside-out boundaries.
