This beautiful detached mid-century property in the sought-after Weybridge area underwent an extensive refurbishment, including a side extension.
Thames Valley Windows was recommended to the Weybridge homeowners by a neighbour who is an architect with whom we have worked on many projects.
The window and door design brief was for energy-efficient slimline black steel replacement windows and doors that would maintain the traditional features of the period property while creating a contemporary, luxurious home with some industrial touches.
Our sales director, Paul, collaborated closely with the Weybridge homeowners to design a comprehensive architectural aluminium glazing solution for their mid-century home.
As part of the design brief, they wanted to replace their white diamond-leaded uPVC casement windows with steel windows. Paul recommended Air Mod windows and doors for their aesthetic appeal and exceptional performance. All the double-glazed windows and doors are finished in matt jet-black RAL 9005.

The jet black aïr MOD externally glazed windows feature consistent sightlines throughout the house, combining fixed and opening casement windows. A large gable end window in the master bedroom creates a bold feature against the external white render, creating a stunning exterior to this luxury mid-century home.
The glass units in the Black Georgian bar windows and doors are A-rated, toughened, and equipped with a low emissivity coating. They are filled with argon gas and include a black warm-edge spacer bar, providing long-lasting thermal efficiency and enhancing the home’s overall energy performance.
