Traditional cottage front door was a must for this picturesque character home in the charming rural village of Winkfield, near Windsor.

It had been nine years since we designed and installed black leaded windows into their Windsor home! We were delighted that they chose to return to us when they were looking to purchase a new cottage style front door.

When planning to upgrade the front door to their period property, our Windsor homeowners decided that they would like to maintain the original character and charm of their cottage.

Their existing wooden front door only had one locking system, so they wanted an energy-efficient front door that offered improved security and low maintenance. They were keen to revitalise the dated front door with a modern, secure alternative whilst retaining an air of timeless elegance.
