Location: Fleet
Originally fitted with timber framed windows, this charming Fleet property needed a makeover; the windows were starting to look worn and tired, detracting from the appeal of this family home. Maintaining the period character of the property was important to our clients when replacing their windows. It was also important that the windows should be low maintenance. The original window design was replicated using an Antique Rustique window casement with added Georgian bars, an authentic looking choice for uPVC double glazing, Fleet wide.
A complement to any style of home, the sculpted slim-line ‘ovolo’ edge that was used on the windows are highly detailed and aesthetically pleasing. The low maintenance of the windows was achieved using eco-friendly and high-quality materials throughout. This means that they will not be susceptible to warping, cracking, or peeling- even with the unpredictable weather in Britain they won’t suffer from rot.
We continued with the Antique Rustique theme by installing French Doors from the same range. Matching the property’s style, they open effortlessly onto the outside patio of the family home allowing easy access to outdoor space.
The property now benefits from a warmer environment, increased soundproofing and added security. The client was incredibly pleased with their new windows fitted by uPVC double glazing, Fleet based experts!
