Location: Woodcote, Oxfordshire
As part of a very exclusive new development, this stunning Oxfordshire based property is situated with four other homes. When the houses were built, the original developer choose to install normal modern windows made from timber, but the client wanted something different. The original windows were already starting to split and the paint was flaking in places. There was very little thermal efficiency, with the original double glazing used being extremely thin.
Different designs were discussed with the client at the start. After already having to paint the original windows once, our client wanted something that didn’t involve that level of maintenance, but that still had a timeless design.
The windows that were chosen for this Woodcote home were Halo Rustique, a popular choice for uPVC double glazing. The design was finished in smooth white, with Georgian face-fix bars, even sight-lines and hardwood cills.
Since the transformation of this property, we have replaced the double glazing in two more of these exclusive Woodcote properties.
The uPVC double glazed windows have been a very welcome change for our client, who is extremely happy with the results.
