The homeowners visited our Bracknell showroom, and after discussing their home renovations details in much detail with Michael, the architect-designer at Thames Valley Windows, they agreed on a full house of replacement windows and doors;
With so many wood effect uPVC windows across the family home, it was vital to ensure there would be no worries about extensive maintenance.

They replicate traditional 19th-century flush sash timber windows. so closely that they are the perfect replacement for traditional timber windows for homeowners of period properties in conservation areas.
Michael was heavily involved throughout the design process, producing a series of 3D visualisations that illustrated the various design options available. His input helped the client to visualise a potential outcome and make decisions with increased confidence that proved to be the correct one.
Perhaps the most magnificent part of the renovation is the modern glazed extension at the rear of the property. Which has been designed with Solarlux Cero III sliding doors and spans the whole breadth of the open plan living space, creating floods of natural light and opening up the room to the spectacular views of Summerleaze lake. Each sliding door effortlessly slides away from the 90-degree corner to provide a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor space. The result, a beautifully light and airy open plan dining space perfect for family dining and alfresco entertaining in the summer months.
The installation took two days to remove the original windows and install the wood effect uPVC windows. The Maidenhead property now benefits from fifteen new white wood effect windows in various sizes including two box bay windows in the bedrooms.
