Location: Weybridge
This lovely home in Weybridge was originally fitted with single glazed Neo-Georgian windows. Our client wanted to give the house a less-busy look and bring the exterior up to date.
They chose Halo Timber Alternative uPVC windows with a single Georgian bar design. Timber alternative is a fantastic choice if you want the look of real wood, but without the maintenance and cost. Double glazing also means that this home is noticeably warmer and quieter.
In total contrast, our client also opted for three sets of aluminium sliding doors in a contemporary grey colour to replace the the 1970s-style timber patio doors. The glass area is maximised allowing them to enjoy views of the large garden from anywhere in the house. The grey looks very smart against the house and shows that a contemporary look can work very well even in more traditional properties.
