Every room in this beautiful Wokingham detached property has benefitted from a complete make-over of energy-efficient white uPVC square leaded windows.
The family home is on a popular residential road close to Wokingham town centre.
Thames Valley Windows had been recommended to the Wokingham homeowners by a neighbour as a trustworthy double glazing company when they started planning their home renovation project.
Their existing uPVC square leaded windows offered minimal energy efficiency and was no longer secure.
Our designer Chris contacted the homeowners and arranged a home visit.
Part of their brief was that they wanted a low-maintenance product with slim sightlines that offered long-term performance but were keen to maintain the traditional style of square leaded windows at the front of the property to compliment the aesthetics and architecture of the detached property.
Chris listened to their home renovation plans, provided some quotes for the different UPVC window and door systems we offer, and recommended an appointment at our Bracknell showroom to view the wide range of UPVC windows we have on display.
At the appointment, the Wokingham homeowners could feel the quality of the uPVC windows and view the different window styles. This helped them decide when they chose the Rustique range from Halo, all finished in smooth white for both the exterior and interior and agreed on a blackened square lead design.
Halo does not compromise on performance and quality. The modern performing Rustique Royale Range windows offer slim, even sightlines and have been independently tested and achieved a BS7412 weather performance rating. They are secured by design, deliver enhanced security features, and are PAS23/24 approved.
Low-maintenance window frames combined with Low-E glass units that are argon gas-filled with a thermally efficient spacer bar, achieving a u-value of 1.4 to offer superb A-rated energy efficiency.
Rustique Royale Range window system offers an array of colours and finishes from the standard white to traditional rosewood or modern black or grey, with a range of high-quality handles in various colours from ultra-modern chrome to the traditional black monkey tail or contemporary white teardrop style.
Leaded light windows, also known as ‘leadlights’, have been an architectural feature of churches and historic buildings for centuries, dating back to the Roman and Byzantine eras.
In the early 16th and 17th centuries, stained glass and leaded glass windows and doors became popular in British homes and part of our English Heritage.
Leaded windows are available in rectangular/square, Tudor, and Elizabethan diamond-leaded designs.
The end result of these White uPVC Square Leaded Windows is stunning. This front elevation of this beautiful detached property has retained its traditional character and has been bought into the 21st century to make it quieter, warmer and more secure.
As part of this home renovation project, we also designed and installed a Solarlux Wintergarden Glazed Extension
