Pirnar Front Door, Solarlux Bi-Folds and Double Glazing, Teddington

This property in Teddington, Greater London, has been extended and upgraded with a new front door, bi-folding doors and new double glazing windows.

The modern, contemporary style front door is from Pirnar’s Optimum range, powder coated in anthracite grey (RAL 7016) and finished with a stainless steel bar handle. These handmade front doors are triple glazed as standard and have superb thermal and acoustic insulation. The original door was timber and mostly glass, with a side panel, which were replaced with our bespoke, full width door. This can be seen in the gallery above.

The rear of this Teddington property has been extended to create a large, open plan kitchen/living area. Our client wanted to extend this look in to the garden area and chose bi-fold doors on two sides. Both sets of doors fold back and will eventually sit flush with the patio once complete.

New double glazing was also installed to replace the original double glazing windows. uPVC double glazing windows with Georgian bars were chosen in keeping with neighbouring homes on the street.

This Teddington property has been given a modern makeover and looks fantastic! It is warmer, quieter and more secure.
