Location: Camberley
We recently replaced eight sash windows for a beautiful detached Neo Georgian house in Camberley.
The beautiful property retains many period features and is tucked away in a pleasant cul-de-sac within walking distance of the town centre.
Thames Valley Windows removed the original single-glazed timber sash windows and installed the existing uPVC sash windows over 30 years ago. We were delighted that after receiving our annual Christmas Card and exclusive promotion, the Camberley homeowners contacted us for a quote for replacement sash windows.
With nearly 40 years of experience within the glazing industry, we are known for our high-quality products and for being straight-talking, honest and transparent with all our clients. Our reputation speaks for us, as most of our work comes from returning customers and recommendations.
Our designer Ray contacted the Camberley homeowners to listen to and understand their requirements for their home renovation project.
The homeowners advised that whilst the existing sash windows were still in very good condition, they had started to suffer from condensation during winter. With the rising energy costs, the Camberley homeowners were keen to replace their old windows with high-specification, energy-efficient double-glazed uPVC windows.
Ray provided the Camberley homeowners with advice and recommended the Halo Rustique Royale Profile in the same style, Internal block Georgian design, that we installed in 2016 to preserve the character and restore the aesthetic era of the Neo Georgian property.
Halo Rustique Royale windows are skillfully crafted by one of the UK’s finest and longest-established UK window and door manufacturers,
They are inspired by traditional joinery. Their curved and sculptured profile with ovolo detailing offers a traditional look to replicate traditional timber sash windows, preserve beautiful period properties, and enhance the architectural heritage.
These high-quality, uPVC sash windows are handcrafted for perfection to replicate original wooden sash windows whilst delivering modern thermal efficiency through glazing.
Halo uPVC sliding sash windows combine traditional sculptured aesthetics with modern techniques to deliver a double-glazed sash window system that excels in draught-proofing and ensures a property remains warmer and quieter throughout the year.
Halo’s uPVC profile has achieved Secured by Design, accreditation from the British Standards Institute (BSi) of BS7950 and PAS 23 / 24 for weather performance and ‘so you can have complete peace of mind as to the quality of their glazing products.
The end result is stunning. The replacement double-glazed windows seamlessly matched the existing ones for a low-maintenance yet high-quality finish.
The replacement double-hung sash windows have been beautifully designed with impeccably clean lines and a smooth white finish on both sides, finished with scotia beading to give the windows a more traditional appearance.
These slim-line double-glazed units and narrower frames allow more sunlight to permit throughout the Camberley property and deliver maximum thermal performance making it more sustainable and improving energy efficiency to help lower energy bills.
Gold handles complimented this internally to match the period interior décor perfectly.
These modern-day uPVC sliding sash windows offer high durability and little maintenance. Unlike original sash windows, they do not need regular painting and will not warp or twist.
