Location: Tadley
This impressive new build property is set in an enviable location in Tadley. Due to the design and style of the property, the owners chose a number of products to best compliment the look of the house on all elevations. The combination of products ensures the best proportions throughout and makes the most of the jaw-dropping views, thus ensuring their home is secure, warm and looks good for many years to come.
The beautiful double glazed sliding sash windows are from our timber alternative uPVC range. They have a white grain wood effect finish, mechanical joints and polished gold furniture including security thumb latches with locking, as well as traditional sash lifts and pole rings. We have also used a modern style spring operated restrictor for secure ventilation and peace of mind when opening the windows.
We also installed timber-alternative lipped casements from Evolution’s Storm 2 range. Also double glazed, these uPVC windows are finished with a matching white wood painted foil to compliment the sliding sash windows and also have gold furniture. These windows feature mechanical joints and look as close to timber as you can get.
With a large number of frames, our timber alternative range of uPVC was the preferred choice as they have the look of timber but are virtually maintenance-free – a definite bonus with this many windows!
Despite being a new build, trickle vents have not been fitted to any of the frames because an alternative ventilation system has been installed. This helps to give the windows a clean and un-cluttered look and ensures the thermal and acoustic performance is not affected.
French doors in the family room downstairs open out on to a patio area. A second set of French Doors in the master bedroom open inwards and allow the owners of this home to open up the room to the garden and enjoy those views across the countryside.
Two sets of Solarlux bi-fold doors in DB703 Grey at the rear of the property give the property a modern touch. These are fully stacking and have a flush track meaning those rooms can be completely opened in the warmer months, giving uninterrupted access to the large patio area.
A stunning property!
