The owners of this Victorian property in Egham were keen to retain the character of the sliding sash windows but did not want to have timber. Their adjoining neighbour had uPVC windows fitted last year and they knew that they did not want to go down this route.
Our client chose our new Evolution Storm Timber Alternative traditional sliding sash window with authentic design features.
The windows were fitted deep in the brick reveals as per the original windows. The interior was finished with traditional architrave and mouldings.
The windows are a perfect replica of the originals without any of the inherent problems associated with timber.
The front door is a beautiful Evolution Boxmoor. it is also timber alternative and maintenance free. It looks amazing and many people have asked where they bought the front door!
Double glazing has made this lovely home warmer and quieter. A fantastic project.
