Location: Wokingham
Originally, the owner of this wonderful home in Wokingham wanted to replace the windows in their property with new windows that looked similar to the existing Georgian windows, designed in a 70’s style.
After a larger number of possible designs were discussed with our client in Wokingham they decided that they wanted to achieve a cleaner exterior appearance by lowering the number of ground floor uPVC Double Glazing in Wokingham Georgian style panes and completely remove the current fanlights. False casements were installed within the units that were fixed, to keep the sightlines perfectly level. By changing the number of ground floor panes from 8 to 6, a cleaner look was achieved that gives balance to the house. You can see change in the uPVC double glazing gallery above.
We also made changes to the front door of the property in Wokingham, placing bricks over part of the side panels; these were originally fully glazed. This created two dwarf walls on the left and right of the door, enhancing the external appeal of the entrance to the property. This also changed and enhanced the appeal of the inside hallway, as flanking windows and window boards were used.
The client was able to make the decision to go ahead with a full peace of mind, as they were able to use our design software in advance. Seeing the possible options with the aid of a 3D visual, really assisted our client in picking a uPVC Double Glazing in Wokingham design that they knew they would love going forwards.
