We replaced the original single glazed windows in this charming home in Sonning with new double glazed uPVC Sliding Sash Windows. These beautifully designed features are easy to maintain and will add character to any home, improving aesthetics and thermal efficiency.

The owner of this cottage like property asked for some advice on how she could maintain the traditional character of her home and reduce her expensive energy bills that were increasing year on year. The original bow windows on the ground floor were deteriorating after being installed over 30 years ago when they were in vogue.

We invited her to attend our Showroom where she could appreciate visually, the extensive range we have to offer. Taking the time to understand our client’s brief and fundamentally what was important for her, our Design Director produced a selection of architectural design options, and showcased them as 3D  illustrations of her home, so she could really appreciate visually how her home would look with newly installed windows.

Out of two traditional looking designs and one less traditional solution, our client chose an option that exuded charm and elegance, and the attention to detail from the handles and locks really made the difference in complementing her home. These uPVC Sliding Sash Windows in Sonning, also complementing the existing rear extension replaced previously, will look stunning in years to come as they do today.
